We asked Annie to come into the practice (to conduct a staff development program) because we thought it would be a great idea for our staff to have some training in how to communicate with our clients more effectively and how to understand their issues – because we all have different needs and different ways of hearing things.
The outcome was really surprising. Something we didn’t anticipate was that it helped the team understand each other. We found not only did it help our staff to understand our clients, but it helped our staff to understand each other. So we are now able to work more effectively together as a team.
Anyone would benefit from doing this staff development program, particularly small business that have a team that need to work closely together, and any business that is dealing directly with clients face to face, and client services.
